The next free agent to fall under our microscope is Poland international Przemyslaw Kazmierczak
There will not be too many players that boast UEFA Champions League experience on their CV who drop into the free agent market this summer, but Przemyslaw Kazmierczak falls into that category. The Pole graced European football's premier club competition during his time with Portuguese giants Porto, who he parted company with this summer. He also has prior experience of life in English football, having taken in a season-long loan deal at Derby two seasons ago. At international level, Kazmierczak helped Poland to the 2001 U18 European Championship title and figured for the senior side during qualification for Euro 2008.
Is it worrying being an out of contract player in the current climate or is it something you have to accept?
It's normal. I have finished my contract with FC Porto and I have decided to search for a new project.
Is it something that needs to be addressed in the modern game, as more and more players now out of contract?
I think so, yes. Clubs now chase Bosman players due to financial problems, so there is less money to spend and less money in the game.
How do you approach the summer, is it just a case of sitting tight?
I am confident that there are clubs needing a player in my position, with my quality, and I will help them out if they want me.
Do you have an idea as to the standard you would like to play at?
I would like to play at a club with an interesting project, good objectives and a clear view for the future.
Would you be prepared to relocate? Have to go where the contracts are?
Yes, I have already been to Poland, England and Portugal. I will go where I can help and where I will feel welcome.
Are you confident you will get something sorted?
I am 100 per cent sure!
What do you feel you would offer prospective employers? What are your best attributes?
I'm a good midfield player. I have a good left foot, technical ability, I am good on free kicks, long passes, corners and I can give a physical presence to the midfield due to my size. In a 4-3-3 formation I can be the left midfielder, but a can also play No.8 or No.10 like I did at Derby County - where I played 22 games and scored four goals.
Would you be prepared to go on trial to earn a contract?
It depends on the club, but at moment I have enough clubs interested and no-one has asked me to do that.
We would like to hear your thoughts on the best free transfers out there. Who should we be talking to? Who are this summer's bargains? Who should your club be targeting?
Maybe you are a player that would like to be featured, or an agent looking to get a client fixed up for next season.
