Liverpool and Brazil playmaker Philippe Coutinho is closing in on a Premier League record ahead of Wednesday's clash with Bournemouth.
Coutinho is just one strike from drawing level with Juninho for most goals scored by a Brazilian in England's top flight and will surpass the former Middlesbrough man if he nets twice against the Cherries.
Juninho scored 29 times in 125 league appearances but though Coutinho has already played 130 Premier League games for the Reds, he is relishing reaching the milestone.
"Hopefully I'll get the chance to break that record soon," Coutinho told the Liverpool Echo. "Liverpool is a fantastic club. I was received really well by everybody when I first arrived here. It's got fantastic staff and fans and it has a huge level of ambition which is really exciting to see.
"I really think we're returning to a period where we can achieve greatness and win titles. That's the reason why I was attracted to stay here at Liverpool.
"Getting into the Champions League is very important for the club and obviously it's our aim. All the games are like finals now if we are going to achieve it. There are still a lot of points available to us and we need to win as many as we can."
Coutinho's team-mate Roberto Firmino, who has racked up an impressive 19 goals in 59 league games for the Reds, will also have Juninho's record in his sights.
Other notable names in the top 10 Brazil hotshots in Premier League history are Chelsea midfielder Willian and former club team-mates Oscar and Ramires, as well as former Man City forward Robinho.
