Southampton must improve fast, Maya Yoshida warns

Maya Yoshida has called on Southampton to rediscover their confidence quickly in the wake of the home defeat to Everton.
Saints won 11 of their Premier League games at St Mary's last season and conceded just 13 home goals, but Everton were convincing 3-0 winners on the south-coast on Saturday.
And defender Yoshida pulled no punches in his assessment of a performance he felt was lacking in personality.
"I think Everton played like we wanted to play," the Japan centre-half said. "They deserved to win the game. Nobody expected it to go like this because it was our opening home game.
"I think we are not like the team we were here. We didn't dominate the opponent. We had more possession but in the first half we didn't show who we are."

Ronald Koeman's side are back in front of their own supporters on Thursday for the first leg of their Europa League qualifier against Midtjylland.
Yoshida said: "We have a game in the Europa League on Thursday so it's a very important wake-up alarm for us. We have to concentrate to keep a clean sheet.
"We need to be more compact, more solid physically and tactically we need to be more intelligent. We need to improve a lot of things.
"We will talk about the previous game, with the coaching staff and the team. We have to talk and I hope we can get our confidence back on Thursday."
