Hull have announced that an agreement has been reached on a new deal with manager Steve Bruce.
The Tigers posted on their Twitter feed on Wednesday afternoon: "We are delighted to confirm that Steve Bruce has agreed a new deal with the club, which will be signed within the next 24 hours."
The experienced 54-year-old boss has been in charge at the KC Stadium since the summer of 2012 and guided the Tigers to promotion at the first attempt.
Hull then reached the FA Cup final for the first time in their history last season, losing 3-2 to Arsenal after extra-time, and the club subsequently played in European competition for the first time ever.
Bruce's men have endured a somewhat difficult 2014/15 campaign but have now climbed five points clear of the drop zone, having won two and drawn two of their last five league fixtures.
Bruce said: "I am delighted to have committed my future to the club. We have achieved a lot in the few years we have been here but this is just the beginning of the journey.
"Premier League survival is now crucial for us at this time, as is improving our training facility, as we look to continue to grow and become a solid, well-run Premier League club.
"I would like to thank the owners for their continued support as well as the fans. We have had the supporters backing since we arrived here in Hull and long may that continue."
