Soccer Satuday Super 6: Stuart McClung from Nottingham becomes the fourth winner of the season

Super 6 winner

Soccer Saturday Super 6 has a fourth winner of the season after all six scores were correctly predicted by Stuart McClung from Nottingham.

Hundreds of thousands entered gameweek 32 of the nation’s most popular free-to-play football prediction game, but only Nottingham Forest fan Stuart nailed all six results.

Wayne Rooney’s 84th-minute header secured the windfall along with a 2-0 victory for Manchester United over Sunderland, while Swansea, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom and, in the Sky Bet Championship, Sheffield Wednesday also obliged.

It was a perfect day of football for Stuart, who told Sky Sports: “Normally I make my predictions in the morning while getting the kids ready to play football. I was watching my son playing today so didn’t know I’d won it until I got the phone call saying so.

“The boy won and so did Forest, so it’s been a pretty good day all round. I still can’t believe it to be honest.

“I’ve been playing for a few months but never expected to win. We just do it for a bit of a laugh and I normally don’t normally even check it.”

The number crunchers at Sky Bet have done the maths and worked out that Stuart’s accumulator was a 214,580/1 chance, with only one per cent of entrants predicting a 2-0 Wednesday win against promotion-chasing Middlesbrough.

Over £1million has now been won from Super 6 this season and the good news for those who have not been successful to date is that there is an additional midweek round, which is already open to play at super6.skysports.com for Wednesday night’s Premier League action.

Jeff Stelling said: “Why not have a go? It’s free to play and it’s been won once again. Stuart is going to have a great night, that is for sure!”
