Jay Rodriguez believes Southampton's decision to change manager midway through the season has been justified.

Rodriguez also credits Pochettino with having helped to turn his own game around, with his effort against Liverpool just his fourth in the Premier League since completing a £6million switch from Burnley last summer. He added: "I have more belief in my game. "Also full credit to the gaffer as he has given me freedom to go and play and express myself."
