Jaager and Claros begin trial spells at Rangers

Rangers boss Ally McCoist claims he is "open-minded" about the possibility of trialists Jorge Claros and Enar Jaager joining the club. Estonian right-back Jaager and Honduras midfielder Claros have linked up with Rangers as they try to secure moves to Ibrox. McCoist is keen to bolster his options in this month's transfer window and he will cast an eye over the duo to see if they could make the grade. "Both Jaager and Claros have international pedigree; Jaager has 80-odd caps for Estonia and played the vast majority of their Euro qualifiers, including two against Ireland," McCoist told RangersTV. "Claros is the same so both are very keen to come in and, likewise, we are keen for them to join the set-up so we can get a look at them in training and in a closed-door match as well.

Open-minded

"We are very open-minded about these things and hopefully we can take something from it. "There's no pressure on anybody and that's the most important thing when boys come in on trial. "You want to make them feel welcome and wanted so that they can enjoy being here. "It is important they can express themselves and, if we like what we see and they enjoy the club, then maybe we can take it a step further."
