Striker secures loan move for the rest of the season
Millwall have snapped up Peterborough United striker Shaun Batt on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Batt has been involved in the Peterborough first-team squad this term, but has been unable to command a regular starting spot.
He has scored twice in 20 Championship appearances for Posh, but 15 of those outings have been from the substitutes' bench.
The former Fisher Athletic front man has now been given the opportunity to establish himself at Millwall after sealing a move to the League One club.
The deal will initially run until 8th May, but there is scope for it to be extended if Millwall are involved in the play-offs.
Batt is likely to go straight into Lions manager Kenny Jackett's squad for Tuesday's game at home to Southend United.
