Laurence Bassini says he is in control at Bolton
Bolton had previously issued a statement announcing that Bassini's proposed takeover of the club is off

Laurence Bassini has told Sky Sports News that he is "now in control of Bolton Wanderers Football Club".
The Championship club released a statement on Thursday night saying they had ended all discussions with the former Watford chairman and the proposed takeover was off.
However, Bassini insists that he has a binding contract which proves he owns the football club pending approval by the EFL.
Mr Bassini said: "I have taken control of the club this morning and instructed staff not to make any further statements.
"I have served a 'specific performance' notice on Ken Anderson which means he has to give up the share certificates to the Company, the EFL have now seen proof of funds and my lawyers are dealing with that with the League.

"I have proof of funds and a watertight contract, Ken Anderson is not able to do what he is doing to this club, and it has to stop.
"I will be attending the Nottingham Forest game on Sunday and I will put things right at Bolton Wanderers.
"Ken Anderson cannot sell the club to anyone else, he is on notice and would be in breach of contract should he try to, I am the only person who can buy Bolton Wanderers."
Despite Bassini's claims, Sky Sports understand the EFL have not yet received the required proof of funding information from the businessman.
A statement released today said: "The EFL is aware of further comments being made this morning regarding the ownership of Bolton Wanderers and remains in contact with representatives from both the Club and Mr Bassini.
"The EFL's role is to ensure any individual looking to acquire control meets the requirements of the League's Regulations, which includes providing information to demonstrate the source and sufficiency of funding.
"We remain available to the parties to assist where we can."
Bolton are set to play Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday in what was scheduled to be their final game of the Sky Bet Championship season.
But their campaign will now conclude at home to Brentford on Tuesday after last weekend's fixture was called off when Wanderers' players went on strike over unpaid wages, with the players now available to play.
