Siobhan Chamberlain penalty save helps England Women to draw with Sweden

A second-half penalty save from Siobhan Chamberlain secured England Women a 0-0 draw in their friendly against Sweden in Murcia on Tuesday.
With around 15 minutes to go, forward Lotta Schelin was brought down in the Lionesses' box by Gilly Flaherty and Norwegian referee Marte Soro pointed to the spot.
Kosovare Asllani stepped up to take the penalty but failed to convert as Chamberlain got down to her left and turned the ball around the post.
In a first half of few chances, Sweden had the ball in the net just before the half-hour mark through Stina Blackstenius' header, but the flag was raised for offside.
Mark Sampson's England were then indebted after the break to Chamberlain, who did well to deny Pauline Hammarlund before the penalty save, and pulled off another fine stop towards the end of the contest.
After Sunday's 1-0 loss to Norway in La Manga, the game at the Pinatar Arena continued the build-up for Sampson's team to this summer's Euro 2017 finals in Holland, where they will face Scotland, Spain and Portugal in the group stage.
