Reading are set to sign Dutch winger Roy Beerens from Hertha Berlin on a three-year deal, according to Sky sources.
Beerens looks set to join the Championship outfit, who finished 17th last season, for a fee of €1m (£830,000) and will sign a three-year contract.
The 28-year-old joined Hertha Berlin in 2014 and made 29 appearances, scoring four goals.
A product of PSV Eindhoven's academy, Beerens joined Heerenveen where he played one season with the club before spending three years at AZ Alkmaar.
In the 2015/16 season, Beerens made just three appearances for Die Alte Dame.
Beerens looks to become Reading's second signing of the summer under newly-appointed manager Jaap Stam, with Finland goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola joining the club on Monday.
