Sheffield United goalkeeper Mark Howard thinks the squad's experience of the big stage will help them in the upcoming play-offs.
The Blades secured a League One play-off spot with a point against Leyton Orient last weekend and Howard thinks they have a good chance of being successful. Nigel Clough's men have become renowned for their cup runs in recent times, reaching the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup this season, and the FA Cup semi-finals last year. Speaking to the club's official website, Howard said: "We have proved in cup matches both this season and last that we are capable of producing the big performance in the big games, so hopefully we will do the same in the play-offs. "It is always said that they are a bit of a lottery and that is probably true, but if we get that bit of luck along the way then there is no reason why we shouldn't be fancying our chances." He added: "We are always capable of scoring goals, there aren't many matches when we don't create chances and we have several players like Jason Holt, Matt Done and Steven Davies in good form in front of goal, so that isn't a worry."
