Southend manager Phil Brown has revealed that Luke Prosser is "fine" after being admitted to hospital on Saturday.
Brown spoke of his fears on Saturday evening after the Shrimpers defender was knocked unconscious in the second half of their draw with Cambridge, but he has been boosted by the positive news. "Luke is stable, he's fine and he's suffered from concussion," Brown told the club's official website. "He was released from hospital on Saturday night and we're now going down the PFA guidelines. "At this moment in time he won't be playing against Bury on Saturday. He will be assessed and tested on a day-to-day basis."
