Hearts have bolstered their squad ahead of the final third of the season with the signing of Dutch midfielder Kenny Anderson.
Manager Robbie Neilson made his move on the final day of the transfer window after agreeing a nominal fee with RKC Waalwijk, subject to international clearance.
Anderson, who has a Scottish father, has played 17 times for the Jupiler League side this season and has joined until the summer of 2016.
Speaking exclusively to Hearts News, Neilson said: "I am delighted to get Kenny on board.
“He’s a quality player, one who I believe will slot right into our side. I’m looking forward to working with him and I feel we will get the best out of him.”
Hearts currently boast a 16-point lead over Rangers at the top of the Championship - although the Glasgow side have two games in hand - with Edinburgh rivals Hibernian a further point behind.
