Goalkeeper Scott Loach has returned to Rotherham after an unsuccessful loan spell at Bury was cut short.
The former England Under-21 international moved to the Shakers in search of first-team football in November but made only three appearances, all of which ended in defeat. He missed Saturday's loss to Dagenham due to a calf injury and afterwards boss David Flitcroft confirmed the 26-year-old has gone back to South Yorkshire early and will not be returning when fit. "Scott has gone back for good. It has not worked out, sometimes it doesn't," the Shakers boss said. "He had a slight niggle in his calf and we just felt it was better for all three parties, who agreed it was better for Scott to go on and get on with his career at Rotherham."
