Kurzawa looked to have scored a late second-leg goal that would take the France youngsters to Euro 2015, and celebrated exuberantly, saluting Sweden striker John Guidetti in a mocking gesture. It returned to haunt him when Sweden scored again, and their players returned the gesture, performing the same salute on a lap of honour following the final whistle.
Kurzawa said at the weekend on Telefoot: "It taught me a lesson. It is a gesture that I won't do again, except when it's sunny."
