Blackpool are still second from bottom in the Championship table after Saturday's goalless draw at Brighton but Ishmael Miller is backing the improving Seasiders to beat the drop.
Jose Riga's side began the season with five straight league defeats, but picked up their second point in three games at Falmer Stadium, having previously drawn with Wolves and narrowly lost to Watford.
"We got another clean sheet, that's the main thing, and we are looking like we are becoming a team now, with more togetherness," said striker Miller, one of a host of new signings this summer.
"Obviously, a lot of people have written us off after the way we started, but I feel that we should be fine, we'll be okay.
"We've got a lot of quality players within the squad and obviously it's just about knowing each other's game, because we've only just come together really in the last couple of weeks.
"We haven't had that six or seven weeks you get in pre-season to get to know each other a bit better, but I think it's coming along nicely.
"We'll stick together as a team and try and do it for the coaching staff and the manager, who has been brilliant with us, to be fair.
"A lot has been said in the press, but I feel like there's a real togetherness when we come to training every day and I think you can see that in the last few performances," he told Tangerine TV.
