AFC Wimbledon first team coach Simon Bassey has said Christian Jolley still has a future at the League Two club.
Jolley is currently on loan at Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Newport, where he has scored three goals in his first three games for the Welsh club. Bassey says Jolley is still in manager Neal Ardley's thoughts, and could work his way back into the Dons first team, should his good form continue. Bassey told the club's official website: "We are monitoring Christian's progress closely and he has gone away and scored three goals in three games. "We have seen in the past that when players go away and do well on loan, then the door is never shut. "He is a terrific lad and has a great attitude for hard work - I never expected anything less from him. "We are getting good reports from Newport about Christian so he is not out of our minds."
