Former Torquay striker Chris McPhee has joined Salisbury City on a free transfer after his release by the Gulls on Tuesday.
Following an unsuccessful second spell at Plainmoor having made only six starts last season, McPhee was used predominantly as a substitute, scoring two goals for the League Two side. The 29-year-old has secured a player/coaching contract at Salisbury. "It's been a strange summer, as I thought I would probably be going out on loan somewhere this season," McPhee told Salisbury's official website. "After speaking to Salisbury, I believe this is the best move for my future and I'm excited about working with the gaffer and Mikey."
