Goalkeeper arrives on three-year deal as a free transfer
Sochaux have bolstered their squad after announcing the signing of goalkeeper Simon Pouplin on a three-year contract.
Pouplin arrives on a free transfer after spending last season without a club following his departure from German club Freiburg.
The 26-year-old had spent three seasons with Freiburg, having previously played for Rennes at the start of his career.
Pouplin has now sealed a return to France and will hope to break into the Sochaux first team after they parted company with long-serving goalkeeper Teddy Richert at the end of last term.
Pouplin is Sochaux's second signing this week, after Mali international defender Cedric Kante arrived from Panathinaikos.
On Wednesday, the club completed the sale of playmaker Marvin Martin to Lille.
