Clements and Dunkley earn Burnley chance
Burnley have taken Hednesford Town duo Chris Clements and Cheyenne Dunkley on trial, Sky Sports understands.
Both players featured in Monday's reserve clash with Tranmere, with Clements scoring in the 3-1 victory.
Clements has caught the eye of a number of Football League clubs this season after scoring 17 goals from midfield, while defender Dunkley has also impressed for Hednesford.
Both players used their ply their trade at Crewe before linking up at Hednesford and they are keen to get back into the professional ranks.
Dunkley enjoyed a stint on trial at Birmingham earlier this season, while Blues and Nottingham Forest have both shown a previous interest in Clements.
Burnley's coaching staff and manager Eddie Howe are set to cast an eye over the duo in training before deciding whether or not to pursue their interest in either player.
