Poyet feels Man City winger suits his team's style of play
Brighton & Hove Albion have extended the loan deal of Manchester City winger Gai Assulin until the end of the season.
Assulin has made four appearances in the Championship for Brighton since joining last month after failing to feature for the City first team following his arrival from Barcelona in 2010.
The Israel international is also eligible to play in the play-offs, should the Seagulls finish in the top six, and manager Gus Poyet is happy to be keeping the 20-year-old.
"Gai is a player that suits the way we play perfectly," Poyet told the club's official website.
"He has been out for a while and he needs to play football to get back to his best.
"We told him the situation and we said what we want from him, so how much we can use him depends on him.
"This is a great opportunity for both club and player, so everybody will gain from this situation."
