Rangers boss confirms he will offer trialist Jaager a deal at Ibrox
Ally McCoist is keen to follow up his signing of Mervan Celik by sealing a deal to bring Estonian defender Enar Jaager to Ibrox.
The Rangers boss, whose team have won three successive games in all competitions since their 1-0 loss to Celtic, secured the capture of Swedish midfielder Celik on Friday - his first signing of the January transfer window.
And McCoist has now turned his attention to completing a deal for Jaager - a 27-year-old defender with 85 caps for Estonia - who has impressed while on trial with the Scottish champions.
"Jaager is a very solid full-back and we will be looking to make him an offer," said McCoist. " He trained on Monday, played in a game on Tuesday and did very well and looked impressive in training.

"We are hoping to talk to his representatives and make him an offer."
Honduras international Jorge Claros has also been on trial with the Gers and McCoist is not ruling out a move for the midfielder.
The Rangers boss added: "He played in the game on Tuesday and looked very, very comfortable and progressed in training on Wednesday and Thursday.
"I'm hopeful that Jorge can stay for another week - we have been really impressed."
