Crawley defenders Charlie Wassmer and Glenn Wilson have joined Blue Square bet Premier club Fleetwood Town on loan.
The duo will link up with the Blue Square Bet Premier high-flyers until January 14, although Crawley will be able to recall them after the first 28 days. Manager Steve Evans let Wassmer and Wilson leave as Pablo Mills, Dean Howell and Josh Simpson are set to return from injury lay-offs against Shrewsbury this weekend. "We've been devastated by injuries in the last few weeks but they are clearing up now," Evans told the club's official website. "Charlie and Glenn need game time at first-team level and they will get that with this move, and I'm sure they will do a good job." Wassmer and Wilson could make their Fleetwood debuts against Lincoln on Friday night.
