Burton boss Paul Peschisolido is looking to sign a defender on loan after his options at the back were ravaged at Gillingham.
Ryan Austin and Aaron Webster were sent off at Priestfield on Saturday, while Tony James was forced off with what the club fear could be a serious knee injury. Albion finished the game with striker Billy Kee playing in defence. With Nathan Stanton and Tom Parkes on the long-term casualty list, the triple blow leaves Burton with veteran club skipper Darren Moore as the only available central defender ahead of the visit of Bradford at the weekend. "I'm going to have to look at getting someone in on loan, albeit Billy did well there when we were down to nine men," said Peschisolido. "Tony has opened up his knee joint and we'll have to assess the injury but it's unlikely he's going to be fit to play against Bradford. "Ryan will miss out as well, so all we've got is one centre-half from the five we had at the start of the season."
