Shrimpers send duo out on loan

Southend youngsters Alex Woodyard and George Smith have joined Ryman Division One side Farnborough on loan.
Woodyard, 18, made three first team appearances for the Shrimpers last season. Smith, a Republic of Ireland under-19 international, has previously spent time on loan at Great Wakering Rovers, another Ryman Division One team.
