Real Zaragoza insist they have not received a bid from Ipswich for Victor Laguardia, after the Championship side were linked with the youngster.
Ipswich have reportedly been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, who has played three first-team games for Zaragoza.
Zaragoza have been touring England this pre-season and Ipswich took the opportunity to check on Laguardia.
"We have not received any bid for the player," Real sources confirmed.
It is believed Ipswich are keen on taking Laguardia on an initial loan deal.
