U21s coach says youngster has pledged future to the Netherlands
Heracles Almelo youngster Marko Vejinovic has made it clear Holland is his first choice for an international career.
The former AZ midfielder, while born in the Netherlands, has Serbian roots and has previously received a call-up to the Serbia Under-21s national side.
But Dutch U21s coach Cor Pot says the 21-year-old is committed to the Oranje after calling him up for a friendly match against Germany U21s on March 25th.
"Vejinovic has already played for the Holland Under-19s under me," Pot told De Telegraaf.
"He has indicated he wants to play for the Young Oranje if he is selected.
"If he is not selected, he shall choose Serbia, but that is the logical choice."
