Managerless Brentford have confirmed Nicky Forster will take charge of the team for Saturday's visit of Plymouth.
The veteran striker has been named caretaker boss following the departure of manager Andy Scott and his assistant Terry Bullivant earlier on Thursday. The Bees say they are still in talks with Scott and Bullivant in an attempt to reach "a mutual and amicable agreement". A club statement also read: "The board wishes to acknowledge that this was a difficult decision, taken in the interests of the long-term future of the club. "The board wish to acknowledge both Andy Scott and Terry Bullivant's achievements over the past three years."
