Swindon striker Thomas Dossevi reckons team-mate Charlie Austin has the ability to reach the top of the game.
Austin has impressed Dossevi - a summer signing from French side FC Nantes - in the opening stages of the campaign after finding the net twice in three matches.
Dossevi, 31, has a wealth of experience to his name having represented Togo on numerous occasions and plied his trade with a number of teams in France.
And he has enough seen of 21-year-old Austin in the early days of the new season to tip him for a successful footballing career.
Dossevi told the
Swindon Advertiser: "Charlie is a very good player, very accurate, and I like this player.
"I am surprised that he was not here a year ago (in professional football), but he is now a good professional and I think he can go on to the next level for sure.
"He can go a long way in football and play at the top."
Ready to fight
Dossevi has struggled to make his way into the starting XI since his switch to the Robins but he opened his account in Town's 2-2 draw at Hartlepool.
But he insists he is happy to bide his time as he looks to adapt to life in English football.
He added: "I strike my first goal and it is good for the team.
"The strike was important on the match. We had a lot of chances in the second half and I am glad we got a result.
"It doesn't matter for me whether I'm on the field or on the bench - the important thing is that the team wins.
"The season is very long and we have the time to get better. (English) football is more difficult for me, but I learn and I learn English too.
"The referees are different in this country. They let the game carry on always and it is never a foul and I have to get used to that.
"But I practice and soon will be ready to fight in the game."
