On-trial defender could earn Leicester deal
Leicester boss Paulo Sousa is considering offering a contract to on-trial Dutch defender Michael Lamey.
The 30-year-old right-back has been on trial and played in the Foxes' 2-1 friendly defeat to Sunderland at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.
Sousa hinted at the possibility of a deal for the former PSV Eindhoven, Duisburg and Arminia Bielefeld player.
"I think he has good communication and good understanding with our lads," Sousa said.
Decisions
"He made good decisions (against Sunderland) and I am happy with what I see. It is a position we are looking to reinforce our squad. I saw good things and I saw the fans enjoy his game.
"Every player that comes on trial there is a possibility for a contract with us and we will see what we can do in the next few days."
Meanwhile, reports in Portugal claim that the Foxes have completed the signing of defender Moreno from Vitoria Guimaraes.
The centre-back is understood to have signed a three-year deal at the Walkers Stadium after the two clubs agreed a 400,000 euros fee.
