NZ international links up with Ince's troops
Skysports.com understands MK Dons have handed a trial to New Zealand international Chris James.
James is a free agent after leaving Finnish club Tampere United at the end of the 2009 season.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Fulham, but failed to make a first-team appearance for the Cottagers.
James has won 16 caps for New Zealand after playing at youth levels for England and he will be hoping to win a place in the All Whites' squad for next summer's World Cup finals.
MK Dons boss Paul Ince is keen to bolster his squad after a poor run of form and will cast an eye over James in training this week.
If James impresses during his training stint at the Dons he could win a move to the League One hopefuls.
