Two more depart the Bairns
Eddie May has continued his Falkirk shake-up after losing Gerard Aafjes and opting against retaining Steve Lovell.
Dutch midfielder Aafjes made 17 SPL appearances for Falkirk last season, but has decided to remain in his homeland for family reasons.
Lovell, who is one of the club's leading strikers, managed eight league goals from 25 starts during the last campaign.
With the former Aberdeen striker unable to train with Falkirk full-time, May believes it is best for the club to press ahead with another option.
Low confidence
"Stevie could only train twice a week and play on Saturday," explained May. "That hampered him and his confidence.
"It's my job to find a better player, and I'm confident I can do that."
The duo are just the latest in a line of players to leave the club after Dean Holden joined Shrewsbury and St Mirren landed Michael Higdon.
