Lazovic and Marcellis see off Feyenoord
PSV Eindhoven secured the Dutch Super Cup with a 2-0 win over Feyenoord.
Second-half goals from Danko Lazovic and Dirk Marcellis proved to be enough to give the Eredivisie champions the spoils in the season's curtain-raiser.
Feyenoord dominated the first half, but struggled to find a way past a resolute PSV defence.
PSV broke the deadlock 10 minutes into the second half when Lazovic headed home Ibrahim Afellay's cross.
The reigning champions made the game safe 12 minutes later when defender Marcellis nodded home Mike Zonneveld's corner.
