Ipswich captain yet to decide on one-year extension
Ipswich manager Jim Magilton has offered captain Jason De Vos a new one-year contract.
The 34-year-old has been an ever-present in Magilton's side this season as Ipswich have challenged for a play-off spot.
He is out of contract in the summer but Magilton is keen for him to play on for 12 more months.
De Vos, who stated earlier this season that he wanted to end his career at Portman Road, has yet to decide whether to take up the offer.
Magilton is happy to let the Canadian focus on his football for the rest of the season before giving him his answer.
"I've spoken with Jason and we have offered him a new one-year contract," Magilton told the club's official website.
"He's been terrific for us this year and we have sat down and talked about his future but at the moment he wants to concentrate on the rest of the season.
"He is fully focused on the remaining six games of the Championship season and getting the club into the play-offs and doesn't want anything to get in the way of that.
"He has said he will make a decision as soon as the season is over and that is fine by me."
