Stuttgart midfielder Alexander Farnerud is considering quitting the Bundesliga club in January.
Farnerud is out of favour with coach Armin Veh and wants to gain regular first-team football in a bid to earn a place in the Sweden squad for the 2008 European Championship.
International hopes
"The national team coaches have explained that I need to play," he told Expressen.
"I need to continue my development to get included in the European Championship squad."
