Brad Jones has been released from hospital after suffering a concussion and bruising while playing for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr on Friday.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper was knocked unconscious after an accidental clash with team-mate Bruno Uvini, whose knee caught the 36-year-old in the head as they went for the same ball.
Australia international Jones was treated on the pitch for almost 10 minutes before being stretchered off, but he had regained consciousness by the time he was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
He wrote on Twitter: "Thanks everyone for their thoughts. I'm back home now and resting up. No major issues, just a concussion and some bruising. Looking forward to getting back out with the team on the pitch as soon as possible."
Jones joined Al Nassr, who were eventually beaten 2-0 by Al Ahli in Friday's game, in August on a two-year deal.
Any absence with concussion symptoms could make Jones a doubt to play for the Socceroos in their friendly dates against South Korea and Lebanon later this month.
