Middlesbrough have completed the signing of centre-half Aden Flint from Bristol City on a four-year deal.
Sky Sports News understands Boro have agreed a fee in the region of £7m with Bristol City for the 28-year-old.
Flint becomes Boro's second signing of the summer, following Paddy McNair's move from Sunderland.
Bristol City turned down a £6m bid from Brighton for Flint in the January transfer window.
Birmingham City were interested in signing the centre-back last August but were put off by Bristol City's £10m valuation.
Despite playing in defence, Flint has established himself as a good goalscorer, scoring 36 goals in 202 league games for the Robins, including 15 in 2014/15 when they were promoted from Sky Bet League One.
Bristol City chief executive Mark Ashton told his club's website: "There has been significant interest in Aden for a lengthy period and it's the correct time in his career for him to move on."
Robins boss Lee Johnson added: "On a personal level, it's fantastic to have seen Aden mature and grow to become one of the best centre-halves in the division.
"I am naturally disappointed to see him leave but it's important we move forward."
