Hal Robson-Kanu has been left out of Ryan Giggs' Wales squad for the game against Mexico in Pasadena on May 28.
The manager has trimmed his provisional 32-man squad to 23, and has found no room for Robson-Kanu, who was a regular under Chris Coleman.
It is the third successive Wales squad Robson-Kanu has not been a part of and comes at the end of a season in which the forward scored just two goals for West Brom as they were relegated from the Premier League.
Sunderland full-back Adam Matthews, Swansea centre-half Joe Rodon, Fulham midfielder George Williams and Norwich forward Marley Watkins have also been cut from the squad.
Goalkeeper Luke Pilling, defenders Regan Poole and Cameron Coxe and midfielder Dan James have all dropped into the under-21 squad.
Another name added to Rob Page's U21 side is Chelsea youngster Isaac Christie-Davies. The 20-year-old has made the switch into the Wales set-up after previously representing England at u16 and u17 level.
