Leeds have completed the signing of Villarreal's Alfonso Pedraza on loan until the end of the season.
Sky sources reported earlier on Deadline Day that the Spaniard had undergone a medical with the Yorkshire club.
The deal is an initial loan with a view to a permanent deal that could be worth up to £8.5m.
The loan fee is £300k, which Leeds had to pay to end the 20-year-old's previous loan spell with Spanish second-division side Lugo.
Garry Monk will be hoping to tie up the deal ahead of Wednesday's Sky Bet Championship trip to Blackburn.
