Cambridge have re-signed Max Clark on a six-month loan deal from Hull.
The 20-year-old, a product of the Tigers' youth system, played nine times for Shaun Derry's side during a loan spell last term.
Derry told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to once again work with Max and welcome him back to Cambridge United for a second loan.
"Max made a huge impression on us all last season, with not only his performances but his appreciation and appetite for our football club.
"As with all our signings, he fits the profile and mould of player we have created here."
