Sergi Canos (Liverpool - on loan at Brentford)
Canos joined Brentford on a season-long loan last summer and has featured in all eight of the Championship club's league matches in the last month.
The 19-year-old, a product of Barcelona's prestigious La Masia academy, played a key role in Brentford's 3-0 win over local rivals Fulham on Saturday, creating the assist for Sam Saunders' opener.
With Canos' loan coming to an end, Brentford manager Dean Smith gave a glowing reference for the exciting winger.
"We give [Liverpool] regular reports and they're here as well, and they're really pleased with him," the Brentford manager said after the Fulham win.
"You have to be exceptionally tough to play at Premier League level. Look at Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney and young lads who have gone in there early. So it all depends on how he does [at Liverpool in] pre-season [if he gets in the first team]."
Steve Sidwell (Stoke City - on loan at Brighton)
Steve Sidwell has had another excellent month in the Championship on loan at high-flying Brighton.
The 33-year-old has acted as something of a super-sub over the last four weeks, adding midfield solidity to a Brighton team that won five games and earned a draw against promoted Burnley.
The midfielder, playing for his ninth club, also surprised manager Chris Hughton when he scored a crucial injury-time winner against Nottingham Forest away from home on April 11.
"I felt the game was becoming a little open and if we could secure a little bit in central midfield, a forward four could win us the game," Hughton said after the Nottingham Forest win.
"It probably didn't work out quite that way with Steve Sidwell scoring."
Gaston Ramirez (Southampton - on loan at Middlesbrough)
Ramirez joined Middlesbrough in January, making 22 appearances for the club, and scored in Boro's recent 2-2 draw with Birmingham.
The Southampton loanee has impressed manager Aitor Karanka and drew particular praise for his performance against Huddersfield on April 5 after scoring twice in three first-half minutes.
"I don't like to say names as always the most important thing is the team, but today it's impossible not to say anything about Gaston [Ramirez]," Karanka said.
"He was the player who changed everything, the first 20 minutes we didn't play in the way I like as we looked like we were playing for nothing, but two moments from him changed everything.
"He was the difference between Huddersfield and us. I think it was his best performance as he scored, he worked for the team, he assisted and won the penalty."
Conor McAleny (Everton - on loan at Wigan)
The striker on loan from Everton had a temporary spell at Charlton cut short on November 5 after failing to score in five appearances for the club.
However, the 23-year-old has found great form at Wigan, scoring four goals in eight appearances for the promoted club.
At the start of April, McAleny caught the eye after scoring a stunning volley in a convincing 5-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town, and says he has enjoyed his time with the Latics.
"I have to say I'm really enjoying my loan period here at Wigan," he said.
"I'm sure the staff back at Everton will have been watching how I've been doing, checking up on me, but at the moment, I'm not really thinking about Everton.
"My head's just fully focused on doing well for Wigan, and taking it game by game. As to what happens at the end of the season, I don't know to be honest. I'm just looking at this as the next chapter in my career."
James Wilson (Manchester United - on loan at Brighton)
Wilson has played a prominent part in Brighton's promotion push, scoring a vital injury-time equaliser against Derby last Sunday to secure the Seagulls a point and put them just one win away from automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has scored five goals in 24 games in the Championship and after gaining valuable experience at the Amex this season, is hoping to prove himself at Manchester united.
Wilson said: "The whole point of this loan move is to gain valuable experience. I think I've done that and then some.
"My full focus is on Brighton for the rest of the season. But I've got to go back and show what I can do for the next season."
