Bristol City have signed QPR midfielder Ben Gladwin and Derby defender Alex Pearce on loan.
The pair will join the Championship strugglers until the end of the season and will be available for Saturday's trip to Leeds.
City's interim manager John Pemberton spoke of his delight at adding to his squad as he bids to guide the club out of the bottom three.
"Alex will offer us experience; he knows this division inside out. He's a good lad and a leader," Pemberton told City's website.
"I hope he can share the load with Aden (Flint) and Nathan (Baker) and that's important. I want to be able to give them a rest; Aden has played every game, every minute.
"When I spoke to Alex, it's clear how desperate he is to get into the Ireland team for the Euros - if he does that then it means he will have played well for us.
"With regards to Ben, when we played Swindon last year he was always the one we picked out as a danger. He was always the one who caused us problems because he's a kid with exceptional ability.
"He's a good ball carrier, can go past people and he's versatile. He can play as a number 10, he can play wide and hopefully he can add goals from midfield, which is something we need."
