Bury have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Ian Lawlor on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old Irishman has signed with the Shakers after returning from a similar loan spell at Barnet.
Bury boss David Flitcroft had been looking for further goalkeeping cover with Rob Lainton and Jack Ruddy injured and Daniel Bachmann's loan from Stoke due to expire this weekend.
Dublin-born Lawlor, who joined City in 2010, played five games during a month at Barnet and Flitcroft is pleased to have secured his services.
He told the club's website: "We have monitored Ian's progress since he signed for Manchester City and have been impressed with his form in development games and respective loans.
"We are delighted to secure Ian to the end of the season and he will add great competition with Rob Lainton for the number one jersey."
