Winger Marc Pugh has signed a new deal with Bournemouth that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2018.

Pugh has been with the Cherries since 2010 and played an integral role in their promotion to the Premier League, scoring nine goals as they claimed the Sky Bet Championship title in 2014/15.

He has made more than 200 appearances since arriving from Hereford on a free transfer and needs one more goal to reach 50 competitive goals for the club.

"It's amazing to have it all sorted," Pugh told the club's website.

"I've always wanted my future to be at AFC Bournemouth - I love the place. It ticks all the boxes for me on and off the pitch.

"The club has come on so much. The owners, the board, the staff and the fans have all done an incredible job.

"The rise has been incredible. We've got a great squad and great characters in the dressing room - that will take us a long way. It's a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful football club."
