Northern Ireland striker Josh Magennis is hoping to realise a dream when Greece visit Windsor Park in Thursday's European Qualifier.
The 25-year-old Kilmarnock player is keen to start the match which could seal Northern Ireland's place at Euro 2016 in France next summer.
Magennis has just one start among his 14 caps, but is favourite to lead the line in the absence of the banned Kyle Lafferty, who has scored seven goals during the qualifying campaign.
And Magennis is relishing the prospect of facing Greece, with the chance of securing a spot at the finals for the first time.
"It's a massive game because there is a lot of pressure to get that win and see that 'Q' next to our name," Magennis said.
"But that's the job we're in. There's pressure every day. If you can't hack it then you shouldn't be a footballer as far as I'm concerned.
"Scoring a goal in a game like this is what you dream about as a wee boy hoping to play for his country one day.
"The more I'm around this environment, the more chances I get the more the dream becomes a reality.
"Every time you come away with the team you think 'imagine coming on and scoring a winner'.
"The team is always bigger than the individual but that is always in your mind because progressing as a group is all that really matters.
"But if the chance comes against Greece it's up to me to take it and run with it with both hands."
