Alex Schalk joins Ross County for rest of season

Ross County have signed Dutch forward Alex Schalk following a successful trial period.

The Scottish Premiership club announced on Twitter they had signed the former Netherlands U21 striker until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has played for both NAC Breda and Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch top flight.

Schalk scored four goals in 25 games for Go Ahead before leaving in the August transfer window.
