Monaco's poor start to the French league season continued Friday after being held to a 1-1 home draw by promoted Nimes.
Leonardo Jardim's side have only one win from the opening six games and are nine points behind league leaders Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the defending champions' trip to Rennes on Sunday.
Monaco finished runners-up to PSG last season.
It might have been even worse for Jardim's team, with Antonin Bobichon going close in injury time as Nimes threatened an upset.
The visitors went ahead through Anthony Briancon in the 19th minute, but Colombian striker Radamel Falcao equalized eight minutes later.
