Millwall's Steve Morison will be assessed before manager Neil Harris selects his XI for Saturday's visit of Birmingham, live on Sky Sports Football from 5.15pm.
The striker has been suffering from a stomach injury, but should he miss out Tom Elliott is pushing for a recall having returned from injury in last week's 1-0 defeat at Brentford. An alternative solution for Harris could be for Aiden O'Brien to be given a different role and to omit Shane Ferguson. Byron Webster and Shaun Williams remain long-term absentees.
Record signing Jota could return to Birmingham's starting line-up after overcoming hamstring trouble. The £6.5million striker took a seat on the bench for Friday's 1-0 home win over Cardiff, but remained an unused replacement.
Emilio Nsue will be back in contention after missing the Cardiff victory following international duty with Equatorial Guinea. David Stockdale remains sidelined with a broken wrist, with Carl Jenkinson still recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
Millwall haven't won any of their last nine home games against the Blues in all competitions (D4 L5).
Birmingham have scored 19 goals in their last five visits to the Den in all competitions (W4 D1).
After a four game unbeaten run in the league, Millwall have lost each of their last two league games, they haven't lost three in a row since October 2016 (four straight defeats).
Not since his time at Notts County has Steve Cotterill won his opening two games at a club, winning last time out against Cardiff.
Of Championship players yet to score a goal this season, no player has had as many shots as Millwall's Steve Morison (29 shots).
Birmingham City are the only Championship side with a set-piece goal this season, with all eight of their goals coming from open-play situations.
Millwall have slipped back a bit with a couple of defeats in a row. They were a little unlucky at Brentford last week with the penalty controversy but the home game against Barnsley the week before is really the kind of game you need to win if you want to fire yourself away from the bottom three.
Birmingham looked good as they beat Cardiff last week and they can only get better as Steve Cotterill continues to work with them. I fancy them sneaking another win here.
Prutton predicts: 0-1 with Isaac Vassell to score first (40/1 with Sky Bet)
