Ten-man Shrewsbury earned a battling point as they drew 0-0 against Luton at Kenilworth Road in their League Two clash on Thursday evening.
The visitors had to play the last 20 minutes with a numerical disadvantage after defender Nathaniel Knight-Percival was shown two yellows, but had goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler to thank for earning them a point, as he made two fine late saves.
The hosts almost enjoyed an excellent start as Jake Howells sent a right footer against the post, while debutant Jayden Stockley fired his half-volley over.
Scott Griffiths' volley was beaten away by Leutwiler, with the keeper also turning Andy Drury's curler behind.
Shrewsbury's best opportunities saw James Collins fire well over twice, while Luton also went close when Drury's goal-bound effort was deflected behind for a corner.
Liam Lawrence fizzed a free kick from range past the Luton post in the second half, as Collins' effort was tipped over by Mark Tyler and Mark Ellis volleyed off target for Shrewsbury from long range.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men on 69 minutes when Knight-Percival was shown two yellows in the space of three minutes for fouls on Jonathan Smith.
However, Shrewsbury goalkeeper Leutwiler kept out a deflection from team-mate Connor Goldson and then substitute Shaun Whalley's low drive as Luton were left frustrated.
